Daily Rate: $700 – $750 per day (Including Super)

Key Responsibilities and Selection Criteria:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to transform data and information into valuable business insights.
  • Competence in Managing Stakeholders: Skill in effectively managing both internal and external stakeholders with strong influencing abilities.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrated commitment to excellence and keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of FATCA and CRS: Knowledge of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL.
  • Eagerness for Self-Education: Willingness to undertake continuous self-education through self-initiated reading and training, mentored by the subject matter expert (SME).

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Customer Tax Transparency (CTT) team, your role is to:

  • Assist in understanding and learning in-scope regulatory content, primarily related to the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), by:

    • Documenting key regulatory source documents and their associated obligations (both new and amended) on ANZ.
    • Drafting general communications to inform the CTT community and highlight key impacts.
    • Promoting a general understanding of key concepts among relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of ANZ’s long-term strategic framework for compliance, including:

    • Providing input for global minimum standards and obligations.
    • Documenting business operating models and architecture.
    • Maintaining an audit trail of regulatory changes and key interpretative positions.
    • Participating in stakeholder education related to regulatory compliance.
    • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and proposing solutions to simplify and automate existing processes.
