Senior Account Manager - Telco

Our client is a household name in Australia and are present in close to 30 countries with over 8,000 employees. Due to account growth and business wins, there now exists an opportunity to join the Enterprise team as a Senior Account Manager. This will be a highly visible role, with approximately 10 million in revenue under management across 10-15 customers reporting into an Enterprise Sales Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that new business is implemented effectively and that customers are satisfied with the process.
  • Develop sound customer relationships, covering all relevant contacts within the customer account.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of your complete territory, your specific customers and the opportunities you are working on.
  • Produce accurate and complete documentation – maintain accurate and complete CRM System.
  • Drive a positive customer experience to support sales growth.
  • Become involved in customers’ decision-making processes.
  • Leverage personal credibility and networking abilities.
  • Drive growth across Mobile, Data, Fixed Carriage, Mobile, ICT, products and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years’ experience in a relationship/strategic selling preferably in Telecommunications/ICT solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience driving profitable growth through value selling, preferably through mobility solutions.
  • Customer Experience/Engagement solution selling including Contact Center is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and navigate complex organizational and political customer structures.
  • High levels of personal commitment and willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own actions.
  • Proven history of working in a pro-active and entrepreneurial manner.
  • Team player with strong team-working skills.
  • Highly skilled in driving customer satisfaction.
  • Degree level business qualification or substantial career experience.
