SAP Reporting Specialist
Talent International are currently seeking an experienced SAP Reporting Specialist to join a large utilities company. This role is based in Fortitude Valley on a 12-month contract.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to assist with the implementation of the client Data Strategy. Working within a team of busines intelligence specialists, this role will develop, guide and support the Business Process Owners in their journey through the data maturity road map. Defining, documenting and developing the various artifacts and supporting technical solutions to bring rigor across the data management lifecycle. Future state will see this role supporting detailed analytics teams across the organisation
Key Accountabilities include:
- Support super users and end users of SAP S/4HANA and SAC Reporting
- Liaise with Support Vendor to assist with the resolution of issues
- Support the development of new functionality within modules and prepare associated documents
- Perform analysis, identify and propose business process and/or system improvements
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
- Work closely with both Brisbane and regional teams to solve reporting problems
- Work directly with teams to understand/scope the Business requirements
- Design, customize, configure, and test solutions in SAC
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results
- Identify gaps, issues, and workaround solutions
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
Technical Skills Required:
- More than 5 years’ experience in the IT industry in SAP reporting solutions
- Demonstrated achievements in business analysis, end user support/training and business process improvement
- Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and business presentation skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a focus on continuous improvement and driving innovation
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Degree qualified with SAP certification
- Extensive SAP experience supporting Sales & Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules
- Basic ABAP programming skill
- SAP consulting and implementation experience, SAP training/certification is an advantage
- Knowhow of other SAP modules particularly Finance would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP integrational aspects
- Stakeholders to minimise potential disruptions to the business.
