SAP ABAP Developer

Talent International is searching for experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our client, a large state government department. This is a Brisbane-based contract position until the end of July, 2024.

About the Role
The SAP ABAP Developer will:

• work with the solution architect, project leads and users to analyse business requirements and define technical specifications;
• design and configure workflows and undertake development in SAP business applications using SAP standard programming language ABAP;
• work closely with other solution developers to complete system integration activities;
• troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified through unit testing, integration testing, performance testing and security testing;
• escalate risks and issues to the Project Manager; and
• prepare materials to enable transition of knowledge for ongoing business support.

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least 10+ years of SAP ABAP Experience
• At least one end to end SAP implementation and 3-4 various SAP project delivery experience
• Strong technical background in SAP solution GAP analysis, SAP custom development with various SAP frameworks in enhancements, data migrations, workflows, UI (User Interface) developments, CDS (Core Data Services) views, ODATA services, forms, and integration development areas
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to delivery solution designs together with SAP functional consultants and Business Analysts

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

• S4 HANA experience or native HANA development experience
• ABAP Web Dynpro, Fiori, Adobe forms development, and BRF+ (Business Rules Framework) development skills
