Opportunity
Great opportunity to join a greenfields program within a large, ASX listed asset management and services company based in Melbourne’s CBD. This is a new program to consolidate multiple off-the-shelf and custom-built field service management applications into the target application being ServiceNow.

Role
This is a mid to senior level Project Manager contract for an initial 6-months term with option to keep extending. The PM will report into the Senior Program Manager responsible for the overall program and be focused on SNOW’s integration with peripheral applications. Business Case approved, the PM will need to stand-up the project so experience in all facets of technical project management (in ServiceNow preferably) is required covering project planning, reporting, budgeting and financial management, risk and issue management, delivery leadership and coordination of development and testing through to implementation and post-go-live hypercare.

The delivery team operates using Agile iterations/sprints. Strong project governance and deep knowledge of formal project management methodology (eg Prince2, PMBOK) and Agile delivery with CI/CD DevOps is required.

About You

  • Strong track record delivering greenfields ServiceNow implementations within large national corporates (2000+ staff).
  • 5-10+ years in Project Management coupled with formal qualifications and membership of project management communities (Prince2, PMBOK, PMP, Agile SCRUM or SAFe)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end technology projects from initiation to cut-over and hypercare – preferably in COTS/ERP and ServiceNow specifically
  • Integration project experience with peripheral applications into ServiceNow with either Boomi or MuleSoft as the integration platform
  • Experience and knowledge of field service management applications would be greatly regarded
  • Experience and comfort in a Project Management role owning one of multiple streams reporting into the Program Manager
  • Ability to manage distributed teams within hybrid working environment – 3 days in office, 2 from home
  • Outstanding stakeholder management across business and technology
  • Deep experience in project planning and reporting, Steer Co level reporting, MS Project Schedule Management, JIRA, financials and budget management, RAID
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, Release and Cutover planning
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant discipline
