
Project Manager - Contracts
This leading technology company in industrial engineering is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their projects department as a Warranty & Contract Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of warranty compliance and coordinating the management of commercial contracts. Your attention to detail and strict adherence to compliance requirements will play a vital role in guaranteeing the successful completion of associated obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a robust and accurate tracking system to capture project management actions related to commercial contracts.
- Ensure timely completion, review, and communication of all cost and project documentation in accordance with company best practices and contractual time frames.
- Contribute to continuous business improvement by showing initiative and adaptability in building business efficiencies related to contract management.
- Monitor progress and performance against project plans, evaluating and approving changes that may impact scope, budget, or schedule.
- Drive accountability within the PMO internal reporting function, maintaining project folders and document control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to improve process development and systems for more efficient project delivery.
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders throughout the preparation and execution of contracts, ensuring accurate information and documentation.
- Offer general administrative assistance and office management functions to support the day-to-day operations of the team.
- Issue detailed weekly and monthly reports aligned with company targets and strategic objectives, supporting project delivery and commercial decisions.
- Support and take ownership of the warranty procedure, including receiving, organizing, and classifying warranty claims.
- Provide effective reporting to the Field Services & Warranty Manager on escalated claims, recurring maintenance issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Travel to sites as required to attend meetings and mitigate issues related to warranty, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
- Document and manage the schedule of works for maintenance and warranty jobs, considering the current position of the annual warranty budget.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and training, with proven success in a similar role and experience in a busy projects or operations environment.
- Track record of successfully partnering with senior management to achieve organizational objectives.
- Understanding of and experience with project and contracts administration systems and processes.
- Ability to resolve escalated issues arising from operations and coordinate with other departments.
- Intermediate/advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the capability to learn MS Projects, Power BI, and Business Central.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Exceptional professionalism, respect, and integrity when dealing with customers, suppliers, contractors, and staff.
