Project Manager

Our client, a boutique IT Solutions Consultancy across Australia and New Zealand is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

For this role, you will be based in Wellington and will be responsible for delivering ICT projects (solutions and software-based projects) to key public and private sector clients.

Your role will include:

• working closely with a Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager who will support and mentor you.
• managing and driving several projects, typically 3 at a time.
• the opportunity to work on critical and high priority projects of national significance for New Zealand.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally offer:

• 2/ 3 years’ experience delivering ICT projects.
• Experience in end-to-end project management including demonstrated project delivery experience.
• Experience in providing high quality project documentation.
• Consulting experience – understanding the consulting fundamentals is key as you’ll be involved with pre-sales and consulting with the customer.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Love and passion for technology and ability to apply a technical lens to your projects.
• Self-starter attitude – you’ve got initiative, you can use it and you aren’t afraid to make decisions.
• Driven and ambitious – you can pick up a project and drive it forward.
• Growth mindset.
