Our Client
Our client is a government agency dedicated to uplifting the safety and protection of our sea environment by administering programs, initiatives and infrastructure which aim to prevent and respond to emergencies and marine pollution. They are responsible for the provision and operation of a network of navigational, distress and communication aids for the safety of vessels in Australian waters. They are also responsible for the development of legislative frameworks and operating systems.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support various projects and provide support on adhoc IT projects. The successful candidate will work with other IT resources including business analysts, solution architects, solution designers, testers, and developers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Scoping, planning, implementing and reporting on assigned projects
- Tasking/managing project resources and coordinating with various stakeholders
- Development of project management documentation, including business cases, project plans, and project reports
- Management of project risks, escalation and resolution of issues
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience delivering Project Management services for government projects
- Project Management certification/s
- Experience aligning outcomes, schedules and deliverables to the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience preparing and management/supporting of IT procurement activities for on-premise, cloud or hybrid solutions
- Experience delivering/supporting IT changes for office relocations
