The role:

This Government agency is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager on various IT upgrade projects, including replacement of a telephony system and an integration platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the project team e.g. record tasks to be done, track progress, create and format documents.
  • Organise project related meetings and workshops
  • Oversee project procurement activities and track progress Follow-up on deliverables and manage timelines
  • Support onboarding of new project team members, ensuring access to relevant systems and induction of new starters
  • Coordinate vendor tasks and deliverables
  • Administering the project schedule with input from other team members

You will need:

  • Min 5 years of experience in Project Coordination
  • Strong experience scheduling and coordinating workshops
  • Previous Government experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to understand finance including OPEX, CAPEX, budgets, forecasts, accruals and journals
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft programs
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills and proactive approach to work
