Network Security Engineer

• 12-24 month ongoing contract with the option to convert to permanent
• Lead the Firewall replacement program using Palo Alto for a well-known utility

Our client is in the early stages of a multi-year infrastructure transformation program to ensure that their current IT landscape is up to date with the latest technology trends and equipment. As a part of this specialized project team, you will take a lead in replacing their current ASA and CheckPoint firewalls with Palo Alto.

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Security Engineer with a few CISCO and ideally Palo Alto certifications
• Must have experience working on Palo Alto implementation or migration projects
• Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills with the capability to handle and own critical issues through to resolution
• Very good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated experience towards the design of IT solutions based on business requirements that complements existing and future services
