Mechanical/Project Engineer

- $100-$120 per hour (flexible)
Our client, a mining organisation, is currently in search for a Mechanical/Project Engineer to join their team for an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend. This role will be initially working on one new project, however with a large pipeline of work, there is a high likelihood of extension and great variety in projects and work.
About the role:
- In this role you will manage a project from the inception, developing a solution, pricing, and project planning
- You will work with the customer and suppliers in order to deliver key projects for the organisation
- You will produce documentation to support the projects and to be handed over to implementation teams for actualisation
- You will also be involved in underground site visits (if applicable) scoping out project sites, escorting specialists
About you:
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Mining project experience
- Underground experience and relevant certifications (ideal)
- Be self-motivated individual
- Be able to work autonomously to complete project planning
- Be available to work in the office and develop document suites
- Have site experience to supervise site works during feasibility and potential move to execution
- Be a competent individual that has an appreciation for large company systems
- Have experience and competence with stakeholder engagement / management
