Our responsibilities include driving climate action, ensuring a reliable energy system, preserving biodiversity, supporting sustainable resource management, managing water resources, and providing essential data and analysis. We actively engage with stakeholders and the public, seeking feedback through consultations and collaboration. Our role extends to advising the government, implementing programs, and enforcing legislation to protect the environment and ensure quality standards

Location: ACT (Onsite)

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and hold a NV1 security clearance.

About The Role

Our ideal MOE Engineer would be actively involved in assisting the department’s ICT operational and project requirements. The ICT Division is committed to providing a high level of ICT services to assist the department in meeting its strategic objectives and operational requirements.

Our MOE Engineer will provide expertise on the following areas listed below:

• Expertise in designing, implementing, delivering, and supporting Managed Operating Environments for Government or other large organizations in on premises, hybrid or cloud only environments in line with Australia Government Cyber Security requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager

• Familiarity with implementing technologies that underpin MOE development such as:

• Standard Operating Environment image creation
• Application Packaging of third-party applications
• Application and Device Control
• Endpoint Security and Device Compliance
• Device Enrolment

• Development of documentation such as Detailed Designs, High Level Designs, As-Built-As-Configured and Standard Operating Procedures

Adjacent technical expertise for our seasoned MOE Engineer include:

• Automation and implementation via Infrastructure as Code solutions desirable.

• Any relevant industry certifications and qualifications
