The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join their team that delivers key enabling ICT Architecture services to direct the process of acquiring, building, modifying and interfacing IT requirements. The successful candidate will work on a program to reshape, modernise and replace the agency’s IT managed service contracts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Promote and realise automation opportunities across infrastructure and application deployment
- Document / review “as-built” architecture and documentation
- Identify technical debt in out of pattern solutions
- Manage the development and delivery of position papers
Skills and Experience
- Ability to provide expert advice and solutions on a variety of complex IT issues
- Sound working knowledge of Project Management and/or development methodology
- Develops, coordinates and negotiates current and future ICT technology
- Is a proven leader who provides direction to others and is accountable for delivering technology solutions
- Has familiarity with a Microsoft-based ecosystem including Operating Systems, Networking, Web Hosting and Databases
- Has expertise in defining enterprise architecture policies, standards, and principles
