IT Risk Manager
Working for this global FMCG company as the IT Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role connecting delivery teams and operations across the function, providing key information security risk and technology risk expertise and advice in line with Enterprise Risk Management policies, standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with a broad range of stakeholders, this role will influence and co-ordinate the application and embedding of good risk management practice.
Key activities
- Maintain and manage the Technology Risk Management processes and to ensure alignment to the Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Facilitate Technology risk assessments, analysis and monitor risk mitigation to ensure effectiveness of remediations
- Responsible for managing internal/external Technology audits, including formulating appropriate remediation actions
- Develop and manage the Third-Party IT Risk Management processes and assessments
- Lead Technology aspects of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery capabilities and activities
- Provide guidance and support to IT custodians on managing their IT assets
- Lead and embed the transition to support process, from Project delivery into the operational support teams, ensuring appropriate governance is in place and adhered to
Skills and experience
- Extensive experience in a similar role with broad experience across several IT functions
- Experience with IT Governance management including Disaster Recovery
- Previous experience with working with Business and IT process definition or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong intellectual capacity, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, task management and organisational skills
- Previous involvement in embedding new processes is required
- Solid Commercial knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt rapidly to a changing environment
- Experience or certified in the COBIT Framework highly desirable
