Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and innovative organization committed to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within the education sector. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Management Specialist to join the ERP Platform Application Services Team.

Primary Role Purpose: Reporting to the Squad Lead ERP Platforms and Application Services, the Demand Management Specialist plays a crucial role in managing demand for modifications to platforms within the team and broader projects. This position involves understanding and prioritizing work requests, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Management:

  • Work collaboratively with Squad Leads in Team and other TDS leads to maintain the pipeline of work demand.
  • Maintain the Platform Environment by working with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of release plans with the demand for work.
  • Collaborate with Squad Leads to optimize resources and processes to meet organizational demands efficiently.
  • Maintain a resource register and plan adequate resources to meet demand management pipeline.
  • Assist Squad Leads and Product Owners in identifying dependencies for prioritization and backlog management.

Governance, Reporting, and Control:

  • Manage the Demand level risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions register.
  • Communicate the status of Demand Management to TDS ELT and report on TDS Delivery status against roadmap targets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary level (degree) qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education and experience (Essential).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an equivalent role.
  • Experience working in an Agile Team environment, specifically using Jira, will be highly regarded.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in PMO roles in medium to large organizations, preferably with exposure to membership organizations, education providers, or similar affiliations.
