Our client is a unique government agency which works closely with a range of national and international partners to create connections and gather information that will assue Australia’s safety from serious threats. They deliver information-sharing solutions at state, territory and federal levels to ensure that essential information is available to all law enforcement agencies across Australia.
The Role
The Infrastructure Specialists will work for the Server Operations team supporting the in-house infrastructure platforms that underpin the department’s intelligence, corporate, NPI and research capability.
These include support for Windows Server and Active Directory systems. Applicants with expertise in Essential Eight support structures, and M365 (Exchange Online; Teams etc) will be of particular interest. They will also participate in the Server Operations on-call roster.
The roles will:
- Provide technical expertise to ensure continued operation of a range of server platforms
- Ensure that current and future Business Requirements are being met for the Agency;
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties
- Sharing of technical knowledge across the team, and provide support
- Ensure the currency and maintainability of the server environments.
- Deliver server and platforms outcomes for projects.
Abou You
Essential Criteria
- Contemporary broad Infrastructure domain knowledge and technical skills.
- Strong skills in multi-domain enterprise environments including Azure/M365, hybrid Exchange, and Intune.
- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment- including but not limited to HPE, VMware and Microsoft.
- Exceptional communication and engagement skills with a range of stakeholders, including senior users.
- Administrating a secure infrastructure environment compliant with the Essential 8 and Information Security Manual.
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical capabilities.
- Tertiary ICT qualifications and/or equivalent demonstrated industry experience are highly regarded.
