They deliver information-sharing solutions at state, territory and federal levels to ensure that essential information is available to all law enforcement agencies across Australia.
The Role
Our client is seeking a suitable candidate at an EL1 level as a Virtualisation Sys admin.
The principal accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Provide Windows system administration support to departments systems.
- Take leadership role in relation to ITIL process adherence for the supported systems, in particular Change and Incident.
- Promote the departments business objectives through key strategic relationships with the range of stakeholders.
- Apply highly developed written and verbal communication skills to develop briefings for senior internal and external stakeholders
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated system administration expertise in managing all aspects of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and VMWare Virtualisation environment.
- Demonstrated skillset in some of the following technologies:
- Citrix XenApp
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Linux System Administration
- Nutanix
- Hyper-V
- Surface Support
- Server Hardware Support
- VMWare Horizon View.
- Demonstrated experience in the adherence and understanding of ITIL processes in particular Change and Incident.
- Highly developed verbal and written communications skills, including demonstrated ability to maintain productive working relationships.
- Tertiary ICT qualifications and/or equivalent demonstrated industry experience are highly regarded.
