ICT Security Officer
- 12 Month Contract with a great team
- WFH Flexibility – 2 days
- $60 – 85/hour + super
Our client, based in the CBD, is seeking an experienced ICT Security Officer for a 12 month contract.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing advice to ICT management regarding security matters.
- Configuration and management of IT security platforms such as MS Sentinel.
- Reviewing application audit and security logs.
- Monitoring for cyber threats and responding appropriately.
- Coordinating with the System Administrator team and partners including Office of Digital Government Security Operations Centre (SOC) regarding threats.
- Conducting security risk assessments on new software and application requests.
- Conducting security and vulnerability assessments, reviews and audits as required.
- Lead a small tea of Junior ICT staff, including acting as a escalation point.
- Must also be able to identify, recommend and drive changes to mature cyber security practice on a tactical basis.
You will have:
- Threat monitoring and identification.
- Cyber security auditing.
- Vulnerability management.
- Threat response and recovery.
- Cyber security application configuration and operation.
