Job Description:

As an Full Stack Engineer, you will be a vital part of our dynamic team, responsible for developing IT solutions across all components of software systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, integrating, implementing, and supporting IT solutions.
  • Proficiently working with infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, and systems integration.
  • Developing solutions using agile processes and common technology stacks.
  • Troubleshooting complex and interdependent software systems.
  • Communicating complex systems and abstract concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Developing parameterized deployment scripts using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform tools.
  • Demonstrating coding skills in Python, JavaScript, and declarative mark-up languages like Cloud Formation/YAML/JSON.
  • Automating tasks with scripting languages such as Powershell and Ansible/Shell.
  • Working with AWS Transit Gateways, VPC, EC2, Service Catalog, S3, OU’s, Config, and Lambda.
  • Collaborating within a global team and maintaining a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Maintaining a Baseline Security Clearance (applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as AWS certified Cloud Practitioner, are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex software systems.
  • Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and deployment script development.
  • Demonstrated coding experience in Python, JavaScript, and declarative mark-up languages.
  • Automation scripting skills with Powershell, Ansible/Shell.
  • Experience with AWS services, including Transit Gateways, VPC, EC2, Service Catalog, S3, OU’s, Config, and Lambda.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, customer-focused role.

Special Requirements:

As a Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible and maintain this level of security clearance.
