The role
This Government Department is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager with undertaking key financial administrative tasks, compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial data entry into Oracle and information management
  • Maintenance of accurate data, records, databases and information management systems
  • Proven ability to work independently to ensure accurate processing of invoices and preparation of accrual journals to capture incurred costs.
  • Perform ad hoc financial reconciliation tasks.

Key Required

  • Experience working as a Finance Officer
  • Experience with preparing and monitoring expenditure against budgets
  • Experience working in public sector – highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
