The Role:

This local Council is looking for a End User Compute Administrator to maintain and improve end-user systems architecture, mitigating risk to performance, security and ensure that the end-user systems are running at an optimal business level.

The Responsibilities:

  • Produce and maintain IT assets and configuration documentation through their life cycle to ascertain they contribute in an optimal way to the IT services and are accounted for.
  • Supporting the IT components and terminology especially as it relates to the end-user computing environment, software and hardware inventory, software packaging and imaging.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to performance, security, continuity, and availability of end-user systems, and resolve significant technical issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain tools and process for delivery of approved software to desktop systems.
  • Monitor, record, and report on the development and operation of end-user systems.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a System Administrator or End User Compute Administrator.
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft tools and applications such as Intune, SOE, Azure, Exchange, SCCM, packaging applications.
  • Experience with IT components and terminology especially as it relates to the end-user computing environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Public Sector experience is preferrable.
