Our Tier 1 client is looking for a Data Delivery Lead to join with their MDM platform team. They are committed to leveraging data-driven insights to optimize their operations, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation. They are seeking a Data Delivery Lead to join their MDM platform team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of data across the organization.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Data Delivery Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end data delivery process, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and available to support business operations and decision-making. You will manage end to end DevOps feature team as well as work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analytics Engineers, Developers, Test Engineers, and IT professionals, to streamline data pipelines, establish best practices, and drive data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Delivery Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic data delivery roadmap that aligns with the company’s objectives and business needs.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data delivery professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Data Pipeline Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable data delivery to end-users.

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize data delivery processes for speed, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with data consumers (business analysts, data scientists, etc.) to understand their data needs and provide support for data access and reporting.

  • Stakeholders Management: Manage relationships with external data service providers or vendors, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in data management, data engineering, or a related role, with at least 6+ years in a leadership capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of Master Data Management, DevOps, and data integration techniques.

  • Strong delivery experience in environments where escaled agile frameworks were in use

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Nice to have e.g. CSM®, PSM®, LeSS Practitioner, SAFe®
