
D365 F&O Functional Solutions Architect

They are seeking a full-time D365 F&O Functional Solutions Architect with a strong background in Finance, T&L, Supply Chain, and more including manufacturing, inventory/warehouse management etc. who will be capable of providing experienced and professional consultation for customers as well as step into a hands on team manager role.
This role requires a firm understanding of a wide range of business processes (e.g. Finance, Order Management and Pricing; procurement and sourcing; Integrations; Planning, forecasting, and inventory management; Production, Manufacturing and Shop Floor Management; Warehouse Management and Fulfillment, and more).
The position directs and participates in the system architectural design, initialization, database management, integration design, fit-gap analysis, training, and reporting aspects of D365 F&O implementations.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and architect Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that meet the specific needs of each client.
- Configure and customize D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain Management, and more, based on client requirements.
- Develop and document functional design specifications, including business processes, data models, and integration points.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams during solution implementation.
- Lead and conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to clients.
- Ensure that D365 F&O solutions are aligned with industry best practices and Microsoft standards.
- Stay updated on the latest D365 F&O features and functionalities and advise clients on their adoption.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation phase.
- Provide post-implementation support and assist with ongoing system enhancements and optimization.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, such as Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant Associate.
- Proven experience as a Functional Solutions Architect or Consultant in the D365 F&O space.
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain Management, and others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management and client-facing skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites, as required.
