The role
This Government Department is seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join the team on a contract role. The role is through to 10th of March 2024 with possible extensions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues via various communication channels.
  • Provide clear and concise guidance to resolve user concerns
  • Accurately identify, categorise, and prioritise incoming issues and service requests
  • Document customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately
  • Assist users in navigating the application effectively to enhance their experience

Required

  • Experience providing customer service support
  • Strong understanding of complex IT systems, their components, and interactions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach
  • Experience using collaboration and tracking tools, such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow – highly regarded
