Talent International is searching for experienced Commercial Officer to join our client, a large provider of healthcare services. This is a 6-month contract position based in Brisbane CBD.

About the Role:
In this role, you will work with the team to manage the end to end process of invoice management – Procure to Pay.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Process procurement requests – raise purchase order requisitions to purchase order, goods receipt and track payment of invoices
  • D&T Projects & BaU
  • Validate renewals and invoices against spend register ensuring they are aligned with contract conditions, delegation approvals and within budget
  • Validate contractor invoices against timesheets and contracts
  • Contribute to streamlining processes and effective workplace procedures
  • Assist other team members where required (Tracking sheets, reports)
  • Assist Senior Commercial Analyst with Month/Year end
  • Correspondence and requests/enquires (Team Email inbox)

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3+ years experience in a procurement/financial role
  • Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to pick up new tasks and systems quickly
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Effective time management skills to organise and prioritise workloads as well a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success supporting robust financial and commercial management processes
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to receive information from multiple sources and refine information into reports to be consumed at senior levels
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Proven ability to work with specialised professionals and drive high performance delivery


  • Experience within a Digital & Technology environment working with business stakeholders in a related industry, for example delivering community services, health, disabilities or aged care.
  • Experience using Microsoft D365 & DocuSign
  • Experience in an AP and procurement environment
