Cloud Engineer
Our client is a local government organisation. Due to new projects and growth, they are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team. This role reports to Operation Team Leader and you will need solid experience in public cloud/data centre technology and hands-on experience to cover every aspect of cloud service. This position could be described as an “allrounder” as the client would like systems administration experience in a MS environment. You will also need to work with external partners and consultants in various cloud-based projects to support pipeline design with the DevOps/Data engineers in other teams.
Our client offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days on site 2 from home) a friendly team and interesting new project work. They have a standard working week and a family friendly work arrangement. There is an opportunity to be involved in system design and move more into solution architecture in the future. This will be an initial 6-month contract with the view of extension or permanency.
To apply for this opportunity, you will need the following:
- Experience as a Cloud Engineer in an Azure environment
- Experience with VPC/vNet design
- Experience with Cloud Security
- Experience with integration and automation.
- Experience with AWS Cloud technologies is a bonus.
- Systems Administration skills will be preferable
- Experience working with local government would be preferred.
