Change Analyst
Talent International is searching for an experienced Change Analyst to join our State Government client based in Brisbane CBD on a contract until June 2025 starting in October 2024.

The role:
The Change Analyst role will be responsible for providing a wide range of support services to facilitate effective and efficient planning and delivery of organisational change for adoption within a new facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop change management artefacts and tools to effectively support the Director Change Management to achieve on-time program outcomes.
- Collaborate with the project teams and change specialist to plan and deliver business process analysis, change impact analysis, and change activities to support the successful transition for staff to the new centre.
- Undertake impact and readiness assessments, and document key changes to processes and practices, in consultation with subject matter experts, utilising relevant change management tools and identify areas of resistance and develop mitigating activities.
- Undertake change related risk and issues identification, documentation and tracking and provide mitigation strategies and advice regarding implementation of plans.
- Provide advice to ensure the program’s projects and workstream’s change management approach and plans are practical and achievable, address all components, and can be executed to achieve commissioning and ongoing service delivery.
- Ensure client is prepared for a new operating model and process changes.
- Provide a bridge between the program, projects and the business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed, enabling all impacted stakeholders to implement the agreed changes and realise anticipated benefits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change on a program/project(s) within a large and complex public sector organisation.
- Proven experience on a program/project, developing organisational change management artefacts and tools in consultation with subject matter experts, including change impact assessment, change management approach and business readiness assessment.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Understanding of the elements of project management, including contemporary change management and business integration processes and strategies.
- Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
- Proven ability to work independently, under broad direction and against established priorities, practices and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes.
