
Business Change Manager - NV1 + OSA
- NV1 Clearance required + pass an OSA
- 18 month contract up front
- Significant change management experience, preferably systems and software delivery projects
As an experienced Business Change Manager, you will be working within the National Intelligence sector ensuring maximum improvements are made in existing and new business operations as groups of projects deliver their products into operational use.
Additionally, you will be required to:
- Identify, define and track the benefits and outcomes required of the program.
- Work with the program manager to identify projects that will contribute to realising benefits and achieving outcomes.
- Work with the program manager to ensure that the work of the program, including the scope of each project, covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the products or services that will lead to operational benefits.
- Obtain assurance for the sponsoring group or SRO that the delivery of new capability is compatible with the realisation of benefits.
- Manage Program reporting requirements; provide advice and direction to Program staff ensuring the interests of the sponsoring group or Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) are met by the program.
- Assist with developing management Frameworks and support the implementation of change management and benefits realization capabilities.
- Take the lead on transition management, ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the transition and the changes are effectively integrated into the business.
Selection Criteria:
- Significant change management experience, preferably systems and software delivery projects, with a strong understanding of change management life cycle, tools and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of change management activities and techniques including stakeholder identification and analysis, communication planning and development. This should include the ability to develop, plan and execute change strategies by understanding the clients’ needs including benefit and risk identification and achieving measured improvements in business operations.
- Strong relationship management skills which can be applied to multiple stakeholders across various levels to achieve desired outcomes. The ability to quickly clarify outcomes in an ambiguous environment and pivot quickly as needed.
