Talent International is searching for a Business Analyst to join our industry leading Client in the Commercial Sector

  • 12 month contract plus extensions
  • 3 Days in the office & 2 days WFH
  • Data experience highly regarded

About the role:
Our client is currently going through a large Cyber Security uplift across the organisation. This is a large program of work consisting of multiple projects. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a datastream project which involves working closely with the business and vendor to create policies, data retention schedules and investigate data source. Data experience would be nice to have however is not required as you will be working closely with SMEs/DBAs from the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable and accurate user stories & process flows
  • Understanding various partner business landscapes and clearly articulating business needs from a varied group of integration partners and vendors
  • Ensuring that requirements are understood through story kick offs and constant communication using a variety of analysis and documentation techniques including the application of visualisation techniques to underpin joint understanding of processes and data
  • Working closely with Product Manager and SME’s to understand and advise on how the requirements are implemented
  • Communicating any requirement dependencies, issues or risks identified through the analysis process
  • Contributing to the team’s understanding and prioritisation during planning meetings and retrospectives
  • Contributing to showcases, facilitating and participating in team stand-ups, retrospectives & iteration planning sessions
  • Contribute to and support quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • Participating in estimation sessions by describing the requirements and clarifying any questions raised
  • Addressing any requirement questions or issues that arise during the delivery process
  • Using your knowledge to support production issues
  • Communicating constantly with key stakeholders, teammates and other people throughout the company and offshore

Experience Requirements

  • Experience using Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops and to communicate effectively with Product Managers, Developers, customers and other stakeholders across the organisation
  • An ability to take ownership over your work, in terms of timelines and development quality.
  • Experience in gathering and developing detailed functional requirements and conducting systems analysis for front and back end applications
  • Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
  • Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, site visits, workflows storyboards, use cases scenarios and other methods.
