Our client is a key company within the Renewables Industry here in Victoria, who are looking to grow their Asset Management team and bring on a skill Asset Manager. The successful candidate will prior experience in managing renewable assets preferably Solar Farms, BESS, HV Substation or relevant electrical asset. The role requires strong financial acumen & knowledge of contract management. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering mentorship from a strong leadership team-ideal for a motivated individual seeking growth opportunities within the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage solar farm maintenance contracts, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide commercial support to ensure compliance with agreements, including subcontractor obligations.
  • Oversee resolution of punch list and major defect issues.
  • Manage OEM warranty claims and spare part inventories.
  • Support financial management, including variation tracking, time confirmations, and project forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Communicate effectively with site teams to optimize cost-efficient project execution.
  • Provide progress updates to clients and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Offer engineering feedback to improve business decisions and contract negotiations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing asset management systems and policies.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (required), with a project management qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance practices, quality assurance, and health, safety & environmental management.
  • Experience applying asset management principles in electrical generation, distribution, or infrastructure environments.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering results and working in alignment with organizational values.
