Our client is a key company within the Renewables Industry here in Victoria, who are looking for an experienced Senior Leader to manage a team of assets specialist. To be successful in this position you will have a background in managing a large portfolio of assets. Prior involvement with electricity distribution, solar & wind, and infrastructure assets will be highly valued. This position requires both a technical understanding and strong leadership qualities. The right candidate will be able to motivate and uplift their team and continually push them to strive for excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team’s performance and providing mentorship to help them achieve career goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of contractual requirements.
  • Allowing and encouraging the team to be active in decision making conversation while considering business objectives.
  • Providing clients with a high level of service, producing value-adding initiatives, and proactive reporting.
  • Proactively manage resources to ensure current contractual objectives are met and to think forward to future projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent real-world experience.
  • Strong understanding of asset management, maintenance practices and contract management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage conflicting interests and make overall good decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building high-performing teams and maintaining excellence.
  • Well-developed verbal/written communication and reporting skills.
