
APS6 Senior Engagement Officer
Talent International are currently recruiting for an APS6 Level Senior Co-Design & Engagement Officer to work for an Australian Federal Government client based in Richmond or Geelong.
This position is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to be extended and is paying an hourly rate of $60.26 per hour + Super.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating critical data analysis and feedback to measure effectiveness of activities and strategies, including identifying associated risks and trends.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of targeted engagement strategies and align to the broader engagement strategy and frameworks, with branch and divisional business plans.
- Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the NDIA’s participation in a diverse range of engagement activities and events, including stakeholder meetings, information sessions, forums, conferences and webinars.
- Contributing to the implementation and operationalisation of a targeted, proactive engagement strategy, including a forward planned events calendar, aligned to the corporate plan, broader Engagement Strategy and with branch and divisional business plans.

Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in successfully designing and delivering community engagement projects at a range of scales in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders.
- Public speaking and facilitation.
- Ability to adapt to challenges and manage sensitive issues.
- IAP2 Certificate of Engagement
- Knowledge of current practice and trends relevant to community engagement.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and experiences of people with disability who are First Nations, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), and LGBTIQA+.
- Willingness to travel within NSW.
- Willingness to work outside of ordinary business hours, such as afterhours or on weekends.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory
