APS6 Scheme Corporate Systems Coordinator
About the Role:
The APS6 Scheme Corporate Systems Coordinator role is a critical team leadership position, enduring smooth operations and enabling the team to focus on core responsibilities more efficiently.
12 Month initial hourly rate contract, paying $60.26 hourly + Superannuation.
Based in Richmond with 2 days in the office and the rest from home.
Key Duties:
- Provide assistance in developing budget cost plans and forecast for the business case to support the program.
- Provide analyse in vendors’ budget requirements to support the program.
- Provide reports & briefs for SDP & OCIO leadership as required.
- Provide effective financial control of the business case for optimal procurement decision making.
- Schedule & organise project meetings / workshops with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project reports, to track progress and support decision-making.
- Assist in Scheme Corporate Systems procurement activities under Director & Project manager(s) guidance.
- Assist team members, project managers and director for Ad hoc project administrations tasks.
Key skills required for role/s:
- 3-4 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Demonstrate experience in working in a federal government procurement team.
- Demonstrate strong budget skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate experience in hands-on procurement activities.
- Demonstrate well-developed communications skills.
- Demonstrate competency in Microsoft applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in project coordinator or business administration.
- Show competency in SharePoint, Confluence.
- Open to uplifting skills and adapting to new ways of working and tools.
- Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
