
APS6 Learning Management System Administrator
The opportunity:
Our highly valued client is a federal government agency, who are seeking an APS6 Learning Management System Administrator to join the Workforce Planning, Recruitment & Conditions Branch, that support a range of programs, including learning and development initiatives such as foundational skills development, the Graduate Development Program, and leadership and management development.
- Richmond or Geelong location with flexible arrangements and partial work from home available
- APS6 level with an hourly rate of $60.26+super on offer
- 12 month initial contract with likely ongoing extensions
The role:
You will be responsible for administering the LMS. Your responsibilities would also include:
- Developing LEAP templates in collaboration with key stakeholders to support the Performance and Talent Management Frameworks
- Developing LEAP templates to support key team projects such as the Probation Process and Performance Support Review Projects
- Managing the LEAP Learning Program Infrastructure, setting up course shells with end-to-end activities including program templates and customisation of learning dashboard
- Supporting the creation and development of custom reporting (Custom Reporting Tool)
- Maintaining LEAP and addressing any system issues and ongoing support of the Annual Performance Cycle and Learning Programs
- Developing and implementing solutions within the Learning Management System
- Conducting research to identify and promote best practice across learning, performance and talent platforms
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience managing and supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- The ability to develop and implement solutions within the LMS
- Ability to set up course shells with end-to-end activities, and develop templates, surveys and appraisals
- Experience supporting the creation of custom reporting
- Skills in investigating and troubleshooting system issues within LMS
- Previous experience within government or public service would be ideal
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across a large complex organisation
