Founder of the Xpand Group, Aaron Williams has taken on the role of EGM for Talent International Australia and New Zealand, as the company continues to grow and build the business here and also take on new markets off shore as part of its aggressive five-year growth plan.
Founder and Managing Director of Talent International Richard Earl said, “When Xpand was created it was a highly innovative and progressive brand that in many ways was ahead of it’s time especially in the digital sector. These are the attributes that we hope Aaron can bring to the role as there are clear similarities with Talent International’s and its current phase of development”.

Williams said he would relish the EGM role at Talent International as the IT industry offered huge growth opportunities in the region especially with investment in the ANZ region growing albeit in different ways in each region.
“The Australian and New Zealand markets are at different stages of their development in terms of their IT investment level, but both pose incredible opportunities; Talent International are considered the trusted brand of quality in the market, is well connected within the industry and with IT being a strategic part of any business that plans for the future, the combination poses a great opportunity for growth” he said.
He said that he was excited to be on board and looks forward to hosting the Talent Unleashed Awards 2014 in Auckland in two weeks time. The Talent Unleashed Awards recognise top tech talent in the APAC region and will simultaneously host events in Sydney, Auckland, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
“There’s a great talent base already within the organisation and I’m excited to be a part of the Talent Unleashed Awards along side the Talent team,” he added.
The announcement of Williams’ appointment follows that of Carolyn Harvey, the newly appointed EGM of Talent International’s IT consultancy business , Agile Logic, and precedes the global head office’s move to larger premises in Sydney’s central business district due to expanding teams.
Williams joins the business at a time of change and extraordinary growth with Talent International’s contractor engagement program launching soon, the ongoing Talent Unleashed Awards, the launch of Rise – its not-for-profit education initiative and the acquisition of a new UK company with offices established in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol earlier this year.
