The Employer of Choice Awards are voted on by employees at each nominated business. Those that achieve the highest average scores are acknowledged as top performers. Recognition as an Employer of Choice is awarded to top performers that go above and beyond to support and engage their employees.

Mark Nielsen, CEO of Talent APAC, says, “We continually strive to improve retention at Talent. We achieve this by hiring people who are the right fit for the business culturally.

“We maintain an innovative, fun and challenging environment in which people feel part of the vision of Talent. This success is evidenced by our high retention rate of around 90%. This is an exceptional achievement in the recruitment sector.”

“Ensuring our people at work are engaged and passionate about what we do is the number one driver at Talent. So it’s nice to be recognised for that,” says April Marcot, Head of People and Culture at Talent. “It highlights Talent’s unique ability to attract and retain the best people in today’s competitive job market.”

“At Talent, we understand that employee happiness, retention and company performance are intrinsically linked,” says Marcot. “A motivated, capable workforce with great leadership produces better results.

“As an established recruitment company, we are committed to ensuring our people, those we place and the companies we place them in benefit from our many years of experience in the recruitment industry.

“We work with job-seekers every day, which gives us great insight into why people seek a new employer. We are constantly reminded of the importance of employee engagement and positive corporate culture.

“We are passionate about the employee experience – rewarding the right behaviours, celebrating difference and providing meaningful work. For this to result in recognition as an Employer of Choice is an added bonus.”
