Talent are pleased to announce that we are a Key Sponsor for the IT Heavy Hitters – White Collar Charity Boxing Event for IT professionals in 2017 – supporting the event in both Auckland and Wellington.
This year Talent Auckland are sponsoring the Blue Corner (We like to call it the Talent Blue Corner!) and the team will be training at City Boxing. Lining up to represent Talent is our very own Tash Silva and Dave McLachlan from the Talent Auckland office who we wish the best of luck!
In Wellington, Talent has our New Zealand Country Manager Bianca Jones fighting out of the Red Corner, a seasoned pro this will be Bianca’s second year supporting the event. Also in the Wellington Red corner we are excited to have Talent’s Cherie Semeri, Georgia Hynes and Rita Trapp all stepping up to get involved for the first time. We will share both team’s progress in further updates, so be sure to check back again later!
Not only is this a fantastic event focused on building friendships and fitness as participants take part in a 14 week program with professional coaches, but the IT Heavy Hitters raises much needed funds for The Key to Life Charitable Trust.
So far the event has raised over $129,000 for The Key to Life Charitable Trust whose aim is to affect positive social change surrounding suicide prevention, suicide awareness and metal health in New Zealand.
Talent is very proud to get behind this great cause and would encourage you to register to get involved or come along to show your support.
Don’t forget to check back or follow us on social media for updates on our team’s progress!
